- Als Einstieg hat sich bei mir das "Usrati Lehrbuch für modernes Arabisch" ( Hocharabisch ), Bd.1, Lehrbuch von Nabil Osman ( ISBN:3190052433 ca. 35 - 40 Euro )als sehr effektiv erwiesen.
- Die "Kauderwelsch" Reihe hat unter anderem auch ein Exemplar für Tunesisch-Arabisch.
- Zur Einstimmung oder Motivation empfehle ich einige Lieder von Oum Kelthoum oder Warda zu hören.
- Und für alle ungeduldigen Globetrotter, welche schon nach einigen Wochen Erfolge sehen möchten :

Bourguiba Institut
The Bourguiba Institute was founded in 1964 following a presidential decree. It is part of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Technology adding to the University of Tunis El Manar.
In addition to the intensive summer courses, the institute offers yearly courses for Tunisians and foreigners (young people and adults).
The institute is composed of 4 departments: Arabic, Oriental, English, French and languages department.
Languages taught by the department are: Modern Standard Arabic, Tunisian Arabic (dialect), Specialized Arabic, German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Hebrew, Japanese and Persian.
The staff teaching in these departments are specialized in the teaching of languages.
The Department of Arabic and Oriental Languages
The department was founded in 1964, and offers courses in Arabic throughout the academic year in addition to the intensive summer courses.
Languages taught : Modern Standard Arabic, Tunisian Arabic (dialect), Advanced Arabic.
The members of staff are qualified teachers specialized in the teaching of Arabic for a foreign audience.
Students attending the courses come from all over the world and have different levels. The number of students of all ages can reach 900 per academic year.
International cooperation:
The department has links with several universities abroad which consist of offering courses complementary to the curriculum that the students follow in their university in their native countries.
The results obtained are counted in the final assessment of the student in his/her home university.
Objectives:
To take into consideration the needs of the students as individuals and as a group.
To take into consideration the cultural environment of the language taught.
Pedagogical methods:
The department focuses primarily in its pedagogical methods on the communicative approach which reinforces in the audience their capacity to assimilate and produce written and oral texts.
Pedagogical materials:
Beginners: 1st year manual for Modern Standard Arabic published by I.B.L.V.
Advanced: extracts from journals and articles as well as audio and visual documentaries.
Levels taught:
Courses for beginners: designed to initiate students to the Arabic languages and to enable them to communicate in everyday situations.
Intermediate courses: intended to offer students theoretical background of Arabic languages and to enable them to assimilate and deepen their knowledge of the Arab culture and civilization.
Advanced level: specially designed for students who have a thorough grounding in theoretical knowledge and fluency in Arabic. It reinforces the student’s ability to communicate more accurately making use of both the cultural and grammatical background acquired.
